We created the grade performance average (GPA) to objectively grade player's attacking and defending actions in games providing unbiased assessments of the quality and impact of players' technical and tactical performance.
We provide comprehensive GPA reports of players' technical and tactical performance in games. We then advise players to improve their match performance grades to the levels of world class players in their position.

The percent success of the players' actions with the ball is not an index of the quality of a player. On the other hand, the grade performance average (GPA) of players' technical and tactical performance while attacking and defending are unbiased values of the player's quality and impact in a game. The Elite Player GPA system uses robust objective criteria that enables grading impactful quality.
As an illustration of how the GPA is an unbiased measure of the quality of players, Messi's attacking skills GPA of 1.95 during the final of the 2022 World Cup was the highest for the match, but his 88% success was not the highest. Likewise, Mbappé's GPA of 1.60 was the highest for France, while his 73% success was one of the lowest.
The Elite Player GPA can be used for talent discovery, player development, comparison of players in their position, and ranking of players for selection and contract signing.
